The climate OF the DeSert

A desert is defined as an area with little to no rainfall annually. Most deserts are dry and hot, and there are 4 types of deserts; Dry, Semiarid, Coastal, and Cold. The dry desert is the most common type of desert. Here, it rarely rains. The average rainfall for this type of desert is 1-2 inches a year. The average summer temperature of the Hot desert averages around around 100 degrees F to 120 degrees F. The average winter temperature of the desert is between 70 degrees F and 95 degrees F.
